Christmas at Crossbasket House | A Message from our Chair
As Christmas approaches, our thoughts turn to the many families who have spent the festive period with us throughout the years.
For those with children in Glasgow Children’s Hospital, the holiday season can feel far from festive. Yet, through the warmth and care of our incredible community, our House has always been a sanctuary—a place of comfort and support when it’s needed most.
This year Christmas carries special meaning for us, as it is our first as Crossbasket House. Over the past two months, we’ve seen the strength that comes from uniting our efforts with Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity. Together, we’ve renewed our commitment to supporting families, ensuring that everyone who walks through our doors feels cared for and never alone.
To the families who will spend this Christmas at Crossbasket House, please know that you are at the heart of everything we do. And to those who have stayed with us in years past, your courage and resilience continue to inspire us. Memories made and shared at the House live long in our hearts.
Nothing that we do would be possible without the kindness of our supporters. Whether through donations, volunteering or fundraising, your generosity allows us to provide a home for home for the families of children in hospital.
From all of us at Crossbasket House and Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity, we wish you a peaceful and hope-filled Christmas. May the new year bring strength, comfort, and brighter days for all the families we are privileged to support.
